Get the CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) certificate training from Edilex Lakitieto. The training package prepares for the CIPM certification exam of the international data protection community IAPP.

The training package offers versatile information on data protection legislation, building and developing your own organization's data protection program, processing personal data and related roles and responsibilities, good data protection practices, data protection management, activities of supervisory authorities and sanctions.

The trainer is the head of the Data protection and privacy protection group, Partner Tobias Bräutigam from Bird & Bird Attorneys.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is the world's largest organization of data protection professionals whose mission is to develop data protection expertise worldwide. IAPP's data protection certifications meet the internationally recognized ISO 17024: 2012 requirement standard.

CIPM training corresponds to e.g. to the following questions

• How to build a data protection program based on the organization's needs, which takes into account the entire life cycle of data and the different stages of data processing?
• How is the data protection program managed well?
• How should taking care of data protection be organized in the organization?
• How to successfully train staff in data protection matters - taking into account the employees' areas of responsibility?
• How to assess the risks related to data protection?
• How to deal with data breaches?

The training consists of two whole day training sessions. The structure of the training supports the assimilation of a wide body of knowledge, interactive learning and success in the exam.

The lectures, materials and certification exam are in English. Free-form discussions can be held in either English or Finnish. Lectures in English help to internalize English terminology well, the knowledge of which is important in the certification exam.

The price of the training includes lunch and coffee.The training starts with morning coffee at 8:30.

Certification exams:

You can take the certification exams included in the price of the training within a year of participating in the training - at a time that suits you. Exams are organized in different parts of Finland, and now the certification exam can also be taken remotely. The test centre's office fee (€60-70) is not included in the exam price.
